Emmanuel Duduyemi (Timi-D) was born in Efon - Alaaye, Ekiti
State of Nigeria, West Africa. To Mrs. Chief Emilia Adunola
Duduyemi, the Yeyelua of Efon - Alaaye and Pa Deacon Joseph
Ojo Duduyemi (Popularly know as "Ojo Barber"). Timi-D
speaks the Yoruba and English Languages.
His father discovered him as a naturally talented drummer and
percussionist when he started beating metal drums to the rhythms
in 1968. Then his father bought him the first drum and he was
made the junior band leader at school in 1970. In 1974 the senior
band leader and in 1977 band leader at St. Peter Secondary Modern
School (Junior High School).
In 1983 Chapel band leader at Eyemojo High School, Osan Ekiti.
Choir member at C. A. C. Oke Ayo Efon Alaaye. Band Director
at C. A. C. Mende, Mary Land at Lagos 1987-89 before relocating
to U S A in 1989. In 1990-1993 he was the Choir Master for
Fountain Of Life - MT Zion, Inc. before relocating to Chicago.
In 1985-1999 He was the Music Director for C. A. C. Of America,
Inc. Church Chicago Chapter before moving to Atlanta, Georgia.
Music Co-coordinator for C. A. C. of America, Inc. Church
Atlanta Chapel 1999 to present.
He has work with many churches in producing albums both Nigerian
and American Gospel. He has released 4 albums and just finished
another powerful album to be release soon. He plays drums,
percussions, keyboard, writes songs and poems. He also produces
artists and manages productions.
Happily married to Jummie and has 3 beautiful children. Timi-D
is forever counting his blessings with authentic african praise
because we are free!!! |
